Oldoinyo Lengai Climbing “The Mountain of God”
Climbing Oldonyo Lengai (2870 meters) (9650 ft) south of Lake Natron in the eastern rift valley of North Tanzania, lies Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai. The name derived from Maa language the native Maasai who refer to the mountain as the “holy Mountain of God”, is an active volcano on the southern shore of Lake Natron. A nearly perfect cone, it still erupts occasionally and you may have the opportunity to walk on still-steaming new ground. Approximately distance 137 from Arusha town, about 3 hours off the main road between Arusha and Ngorongoro.
Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport Transfer to Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and greet by our representative and driver guide. They will assist you with your luggage then board your vehicle. Transfer to Arusha town for overnight on bed and breakfast basis. Depend with arrival time our tour consultant will brief you about your tour.

Day 2 – Arusha Lake Natron
Depart early morning from Arusha and drive to Ngaresero village (Lake Natron) with packed lunch. Approximately time is 4-6 hours driving. On arrival at the camp you will unload your baggage there after followed by walk to Ngaresero water falls guided by native Maasai guide. Ngaresero Campsite on Full Board basis.

Day 3: climb Oldonyo Lengai-2870meters
At very early morning 1:00 a.m. drive to the base of the Oldoinyo Lengai Mountain to start the climb. Reach at the summit during sunrise and spend some time there before coming down to the base of the mountain. From there clients will be transferred by jeep to Ngaresero Campsite for shower and rest. Later stretch to the lake shore for birds watching. Dinner and overnight .on full board basis.

Day4: Lake Natron to Arusha Onwards to JRO
Today after Breakfast pack your luggage and visit the Maasai village/Boma where you will enjoy Maasai Dancing and learning the Maasai culture and taboos then drive to Arusha .Lunch will be served on your way to Arusha onward to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home.
