Relax on the beaches

Day 1:

Arrive at Zanzibar airport/harbor and transfer to Forodhani Park Hotel, located in Stone Town. Check in for 1 night on a half board basis.

Day 2:

After breakfast at 9:00 AM, enjoy the Stone Town Walking Tour, which explores the cultural and architectural heritage of Zanzibar with centuries of history. The tour includes visits to the former slave market site (now the Anglican Church built in 1871), the town market, the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, the House of Wonders (Beit-al-Ajaib) built in 1883, the Old Arab Fort, the Palace Museum, and ends at the Old Indian Dispensary (Cultural Center). At 2:30 PM, embark on the Prison Island Tour to visit the home of giant tortoises. Return to your hotel by 5:00 PM.

Day 3:

At 8:30 AM, after breakfast, check out and travel to Matemwe Beach. On the way, visit a spice farm for a guided Spice Tour. This 3-hour tour allows you to discover tropical fruits, spices, herbs, and rare plant species brought by the sultans of Oman. You’ll see cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cardamom, curry, pepper, tamarind, ginger, menthol, and many others. Learn about their culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal uses, including neem and iodine trees. After the tour, proceed to Zanzibar Queen Hotel on the north-east coast. Check in for 4 nights on a half board basis.

Day 4:

Full day Safari Blue Trip. Starting at 9:00 AM and ending around 4:00 PM, this sea adventure includes swimming, snorkeling, seafood lunch, and soft drinks. You’ll sail on a traditional dhow, relax on a sandy beach, and have lunch on the unique Kwale Island. It’s a highly recommended experience for unforgettable memories.

Day 5:

Village Tour. Start by visiting Nungwi Village to see traditional dhow making, a local aquarium, and the village school. Then continue to Mchangani Village, located centrally on the island, to interact with locals, taste traditional foods and fruits, and visit a local school. Finally, visit Koani Village to observe local door makers and ancient carving designs. Return to the hotel around 2:00 PM.

Day 6:

Jozani Forest Tour and Kizimkazi Dolphin Tour. Visit Jozani Forest, now part of the Jozani-Chwaka Bay National Park, to see the rare Red Colobus Monkeys found only in Zanzibar. Combine this with a dolphin tour in Kizimkazi. The full tour takes a maximum of three hours and can be customized to include one or both attractions.

Day 7:

Pick up from Zanzibar Queen Hotel and transfer to the harbor/airport for departure.
